HOPI BLACK DYE SUNFLOWER
(Nidíyílii)
helianthus annuus

Description

Navajo sunflower is the tallest plant in our garden. Our main challenge in growing it in our northern climate is getting it mature enough to produce a large number of seeds before the end of the season.

Experiments

We have not yet experimented with dyeing with Nidíyílii but are expecting lavendar colours.
